I am very honored to be a part of the pacing for the cure team. A little about myself…. I am highly involved in harness racing, working as a second trainer to my father, Mike, while also helping manage the farm of usually 45+ horses at any given time. I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington earning a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. After graduation, I chose to pursue my love of horses and working with them on a daily basis. Our family farm is the oldest working farm in the State of Maine, so it was an easy choice not to give up on the continuation of that legacy. I am currently on the board of directors for the Maine Harness Horseman’s Association and have been serving there for the last few years. As for PFTC, I attended the Dan Patch Awards in Florida, where I met Jeff and Janine. I offered to help in any way I could back in 2019 and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help create awareness for a great cause. As we all know, so many people have been affected by MS and other chronic illnesses. As for me getting the opportunity to raise money by selling clothing, sign me up! Raising awareness about PFTC mission throughout the New England area and beyond has been a great success. I look forward to being more involved with PFTC.
