Jacqueline Graffam – Pancreatic Cancer

In Memory of Jacqueline L. Graffam

Known as Lori by most, you could find her trackside supporting her two kids; harness driver, Nick Graffam and her daughter, Bethany, who could be found in the paddock with the horses. If Lori was working, she made sure she knew how they were doing at the track. She was the biggest and best supporter of her family. She loved the horses, the harness racing industry and fully supported our dreams in life. Her kindness and enthusiasm for her family was infectious. Proud of every accomplishment. Lori was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in May 2024 and 4 weeks later, the cancer took her from our lives. She showed us strength by attending events when her body was in unimaginable pain. She was the most courageous and beautiful mother. Determination and willpower defined her. Missed by her children every single day.

Criteria:

• Must be a senior in high school.
• The applicant, their parent, or their sibling must have a chronic illness or disability related to mobility that requires or may eventually require a mobility device or medical services.
• Must answer all questions posed by the PFTC Board below.
• The applicant must write a brief paragraph about key topics that provide the PFTC Board with insight into their character, qualities, and achievements.
