Mike Bozich

Mike Bozich grew up in Gary, Indiana where he spent a majority of his time racing other kids on the track apron at the Chicago area racetracks. His first announcing job was at the Birmingham Racecourse in 1997 calling greyhounds. After a stint in the Chicago land radio market as a sports broadcaster, Bozich accepted the announcing position at Hazel Park Raceway in 2004. In 2006, he was named Asst. Director of Operations, and held that post until 2013. After a brief stint announcing at Cal Expo, Bozich accepted the announcing position at Harrah’s Philadelphia, where he has been since 2014. Mike also co-founded the popular Post Time with Mike and Mike show, which is a harness racing podcast geared to positively promote the sport. The show has been on the air since 2016. Bozich, who called harness racing’s richest horse Foiled Again’s 100th win, was also behind the mic for the 2018 Breeders Crown from The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono along with Jim Beviglia. He has been married for six years and has one child who just turned seven years old.
